Samantha Kelly
Speech Pathologist
Samantha is a Speech Pathologist at Kind Therapy. Since graduating Curtin University over 5 years ago Samantha has worked primarily in the disability sector. Samantha has worked with clients across the lifespan and has specialised experience working with those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), hearing loss and Down Syndrome. She has had experience working in a transdisciplinary and multidisciplinary team and understands the importance of liaising and working with other disciplines. Samantha is passionate about speech, language and literacy and is excited to support families with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) needs. Samantha is trained in the evidence-based approaches of: “Talk for Writing”, “Sounds-Write” and “Lidcombe”. She has also completed professional learning to become a neuro-affirming clinician. She believes in a strengths based approach and aims to provide support that affirms the person's neurodivergent identity.
Samantha is passionate about working with families and individuals, creating goals that are important to each individual and is excited to make therapy fun and engaging for everyone. Samantha also loves reading, cooking, spending time with her family and playing with her puppy Lucy.
